Tour the boundaries of Hanwell, taking a route past all the remaining ancient boundary stones, and guided by a fascinating information pack giving local history details.

Beating the Bounds will take place on the May Day Holiday Monday May the 6th. Starting at the Fox Public House, Green Lane, Hanwell at 1.00 p.m. The adults will undertake the whole boundary which totals 6 miles, children can start from St Mary’s Church at 2.00 p.m. All money raised will go towards the Hanwell Carnival & Show.

The Carnival Committee would like to thank the many people from all over the Borough taking part in the walk last year, who were rewarded for their sponsorship by a certificate. We hope to see you all, and many more people too, at this year’s (2001) Hanwell Carnival in Elthorne Park on Saturday 16th June.
